About Me

Alif Al Hasan is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University, working under the supervision of Prof. Sumon Biswas at the reSAID Lab (Responsible Software and AI Design Lab). His current research specializes in Software Engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs), with a specific focus on autonomous agent safety.

He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University, where he was awarded the NST Fellowship for his Master’s research. Building on a strong foundation in algorithm design and large-scale data analysis, Alif is also deeply involved in competitive programming, actively continuing to mentor students for national-level contests.

Alif’s work has been published in top-tier conferences and journals, including ASE 2026, ICSE SEET 2026, and EASE 2026. Passionate about research, innovation, and problem-solving, Alif consistently contributes to both academic advancements and the programming community.
